We had a wonderful stay at this place! The location next to the rail station and on the banks of the river was perfect for us. The natural surroundings of hills, trees, and the sound of the flowing river created a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. The room amenities were top-notch, with a comfortable bed and a fully equipped kitchenette that met all our needs. We also loved the clean and well-kept patio, as well as the beautiful garden with its interesting corners, perfect for taking photos. The staff provided excellent service and the breakfast was of a high standard, with a pot of filter coffee that we could fill up twice. We will definitely be using this place again as a stopover on our way to our next destination.

We have no complaints about this place, and would highly recommend it to our family and friends.

During Easter, I had a great time at a hotel that offered a serene environment and a friendly staff. The location was perfect as it was situated midway to both Johannesburg and Kruger National Park. the restaurant had delicious meals, and the rooms were equipped with essential kitchen amenities, making it convenient for self-catering.

The hotel could have been better with a little more attention to cleanliness, and the furnishings and utensils were worn out and required replacement. The other downside was the lack of WIFI and TV in the room, which could make it difficult for some guests.

Nestled on the banks of a serene river and located conveniently next to the rail station, this country inn provided a perfect budget, friendly stay. the clean rooms and comfortable beds made for a good night’s sleep, while the fully equipped kitchenette allowed for self, catering. Breakfast was scrumptious and coffee was endless. A highlight was the beautiful garden dotted with interesting corners for taking photos. the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the braai by the creek was a memorable experience.

We had a really nice stay at this countryside hotel. the natural setting and tranquility made it the perfect escape from the bustle of the city. the beautiful hills and river made for a peaceful atmosphere, and the bird sounds were delightful. the restaurant was excellent, offering a wide range of delicious food and a pot of filter coffee that we could refill twice. the breakfast was also of a high standard. the grassy spaces were perfect for relaxing or having a braai with family and friends.

The hotel could have been a bit cleaner and some of the furnishings were a little sparse and tired. Self-catering could have used a few more essentials, and a little more attention to detail regarding maintaining the kitchen utensils and replacements of bulbs at the car park and braai areas would have been appreciated.
